Term paper: The final copy is due on Tuesday March 5. Please submit a paper version and inclide your rough draft. Period 3 does not meet that day so please bring me a hard copy of your paper by the end of the day. You must also submit a final version to turn-it-in.com.

Your task is to decide whether men like Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan and Cornelius Vanderbilt were Robber Barons or Captains of Industry.
Outline is due on Friday February 8, 2013. The outline must be typed. You will hand in a copy to me on Friday, but keep a copy for yourself so you can prepare for the discussion on Monday and Tuesday.
The outline should follow this format:
THESIS: Put your statement at the top. What is your position on the subject? Be as specific as possible.
I. Point 1
A. Evidence
1. Specific examples from the evidence to support your point.
2. You can have more than one.
B. Evidence
Follow the same format for Points 2 & 3
You will use the outline for your seminar discussion, which will be next week.
